Great product and easy to use as expected, recommended

Got the upgraded remote with voice search functionality on sale for less than the full price of the lower end remote. It works great, have not had any issues. It does get very hot with extended use at times.

My wife loves the Amazon - Fire TV Stick with Voice remote. It understands her better than I and does what she says a lot better than me. Seriously, it worked perfectly right out of the box. I like it, too.

the fire stick was very easy to set up and connected to my home network with ease. I especially like the voice remote, it responds very quickly and understood exactly what I said. I was surprised at the audio and video quality.

Apps are terrific, lots of programs, easy to navigate

There's a bunch more than 57 channels, and there's a WHOLE buncha stuff on; thanks to this device. I really haven't watched much TV for the past MANY MANY years. My wife got me watching 'Under the Dome' and then they took that off (I can watch it again now if I want) Then she got me watching 'The Big Bang Theory.' I think I started at the end of the second or third season and I always wanted to watch the first. Nope. Not gonna buy and TV show DVDs. Not gonna subscribe to any and I guess I didn't care enough to research how I could watch it. This device made finding it a snap, and now I'm enjoying the entire series - start to wherever-they-are-now - because of the Fire TV Stick. Yes. I like it very much!

At $49.99 the Firestick is an excellent buy, at $35 - which it sells for several times a year - it is a Superbuy. I was pressed and needing to buy this as a gift bit my lip and paid $49.99. The voice option on the remote is extremely useful for launching apps and searching. The power plug is now thinner thus occupying/covering only one prong on a surge protector vs the 2 slots which were covered on previous iterations. Also a plus is, Amazon has now released apps for Cnn and Uverse thus enabling subscribers to view channels on the go without a cumbersome converter box.

I like the voice option. Saves time avoiding typing.

We don't watch a lot of TV. We spend most of our time online so continuing to pay a high monthly bill for something we didn't use was silly. I cut out cable bill by $50 a month, and upped the Internet service to 100mb with no data cap. Signed up for Hulu and cbs all access and that's included in the savings I mentioned. We now watch what we want when we want at a very reasonable cost. I especially enjoy the very extensive library of apps and the older tv shows and current and old movies. All with a very crisp picture I wish I had done this a few years ago.

Easy to set up and link with your Prime account and a good variety of available apps that fill in the missing programming. It compliments my main Fire TV. Reliable and pretty good performance for such an inexpensive device.
