Easy setup is a big thing. Cost is great compared to similar products. Really don't need cable or satellite tv. That may be my next step!

Love the fire stick. Great price and lots of features. The voice search is an added feature that saves some typing on the onscreen keyboard.

For the price the fire stick is one of the best out there. It is a little slower than the fire tv but it is half the price. Really enjoy it.

If you're looking to cut the cord and ditch cable this would be a great choice to go with as it's inexpensive and has such a wide range of apps to stream from Netflix to pandora. I also love Amazons music streaming app due to it's ease of use and you're able to skip songs freely. Highly recommend! As a side note if you're looking to get the latest and greatest for a premium price you can go with the Amazon Fire TVinstead and it streams in 4k and has faster response due to having higher internal RAM along with faster wifi chip.

In my opinion it's better than Roku or Google Chrome sticks. Bought my sister one for her birthday and she loves it! Watches Amazon Prime and Netflix. Very easy to install ... plug it in to HDMI port and follow on screen instructions.

The stick is great. It's much better than a chromecast. This lets you make a regular tv into a smart tv. Almost every app you can think of is on here. Easy to use. Def recommend for any tv that doesnt hve cable or you want smart tv functionality for. I also go a 2nd one for a kids room where i don't have a cable box (they charge you $10 a box per month) so this way netflix and all kinds of other things can be watched.

The remote goes through batteries like crazy. I suggest you invest in rechargeable batteries...i don't know why it burns through batteries but it gets frustrating when I try to pause and it doesn't. I have to change the batteries about every other week. Other than that I absolutely love it! We've ditched traditional cable t.v. and satellite. Best $50 I've ever spent. It's saved me $$ on entertainment and I'm sure on our electric bill because the t.v. Isn't just on now... We only turn it on when watching something. We also have Prime so it's great to have this now.

Purchasing another fire stick this week as a gift for Christmas! I will highly recommend this to become home entertainment for every family

The stick works great for basic streaming of Netflix, Hulu, CBSOnline on a 30something in screen TV. When we upgraded our TV to a 60in UHD the stick started to heat up more but still functioned. Just had to make sure to reboot it daily and give it cool down time. We attempted to use it for SlingTV and again it functioned but would I guess overheat after about an hour or so and had to let it cool back down to use again. Great device with many possibilities. Works great on a 32 in TV, but go for the full Fire TV if you are running on a bigger screen UHD.

I use this on a wall mounted TV where there is no wired internet connection (so I can't easily use the smart TV apps) and its location on the wall precludes using our smart blue-ray player with it. My wife got an Amazon Prime membership and I learned that we have access to Amazon Prime video with it. This Fire Stick was a great solution to be able to take advantage of the Amazon service. I frequently use it and have not had any issues at all. Really adds a layer to entertainment in the room with that TV.

I bought this to put in a guest bedroom which was not hooked up to Direct TV. I love it. I can sit and binge watch old movies, old TV series, lots of things. The room is a basic dead zone for antenna reception in our house, so this makes that room fully usable for guests who want to watch something, or for me when I just use the couch in the room to watch oldies when my wife watches something in the family room.

Christmas gift for my mother in law who didnt own smart tv but wanted to stream netflix. Only issue was that it had to be plugged into wall as usb from tv did not provide enough power. Apps were easy to download from Amazon site

the stick is really good for watching netflix and other things with amazon movies but one problem is the stick does get hot after a hours of use

I own both the Fire TV stick and Fire TV. The stick seems to have a huge delay compared to the TV. Almost to the point of being annoying. If I had known of this lag I would of most likely never purchased it and bought another TV instead.

I actually purchase 2 fire sticks and gave one to my son. it is very user friendly and idea for streaming movies and live Tv

This is 4th firestick that I bought. Great gift idea. Used it for Olympics with NBC sports app, and watched all sports live.

I would have never bought this if it wasn't such a great deal from Best Buy as I have Apple TV, Chromecast, and Roku already. I am sure glad I did though cause it offers things the others don't and way less expensive.

I've used Apple TV for a few years. Got the fire stick to accommodate my sling tv and Amazon prime subscriptions. Faster than Apple TV. Never disconnects from the internet like Apple TV. Very solid streaming product.
