I have last year's model of fire TV and this years remote is much better. Not only is it a little bit bigger, the buttons have a better feel to it and the voice activation is great!!

We had a blu ray with the same capabilities as this fire stick but love the fire stick so much more! Loads up very fast and starts playing instantly, no more waiting for buffering!

The hardware itself (remote, stick, dongle, etc.) work great but not entirely sold yet on the Amazon Prime membership. Only reason I bought the Firestick was because I purchased the Prime membership.

There is no difference between the fire stick first generation except for the remote, which was a pain to open the back cover for the first time in order to put in the battery. Required extra strength

Brought the firestick as a alternative to cable for my mother, so far so good, she has no complaints and doesn't have to deal with a huge cable bill

I wanted the Fire stop because I needed a portable solution. It works great on the move but if you have a smart TV you really aren't missing anything.

I use both the Fire (box) on one level of the house and Fire stick on another level. Fire stick seems to work as good as the other for video streaming. Happy with the purchase.

This is a great product. It fulfills all my entertainment needs. My only complaint is it is a little slow running, but I only watch a few shows on this so works fine overall.

The fire stick is good, but since it is Amazon, it always tries to guide you to Amazon Prime. It can access Hulu or Netflix, but all of the search functions are geared to find Amazon material.

If you are a television series and movie finatic, this is an ideal product to have in your possession. I'd rather use this and cancel my cable. It will save me $140 a month.

No More cable Tv !!!! Love this ,hooks up easy works great !!!! The movies or TV you watch will need fast internet speed otherwise you will have buffer issues with playback

Very easy to set up, and use. Voice activated is a plus. I would recommend this product.

Awesome device, just had an issue with one freezing up a lot but was easily returned when i brought it back to the store. no verification was needed and they exchanged it for a new one. I use them to have Kodi on them and i have a total of 4 in different rooms. They do freeze up sometimes when running a big build or a big app on them which gets annoying... then i use the FireTV which is better and can handle more than the stick can.
