Easy to set up

People should make a note that channels would require subscription and that will come with cost. Also if you sign up for one month Amazon videos and forget- you will get charged. Amazon was nice to refund the money when I requested for cancellation of video services

It was too far from my modem to hardwire it. So I bought the Fire TV because it offered the same apps and I could use wifi with it.

Great product, easy to set up & use when traveling

Allows you to pack your programming along with you when traveling. Just plug it in to the HDMI port on any TV and have full access at friend's houses, hotels, etc. Super easy to use / set up!

Smoother than the stick

Even before the upgrade, the stick was ok but more prone to buffering. The Fire TV box runs better. Worth the extra dollars if you cut the cord and going with streaming options or Direct TV Now. Don't be cheap. You probably bought a nice TV, enjoy it. The Amazon prime video is not bad, but less than content than other options. Hence the 4 star.

New to streaming, this is just what I needed!

I love Amazon Fire TV. I only wished they had a place to put the # in the remote of the channel I want. Maybe one day they will do this. I have them on 3 TV's and they are meeting all my needs.
