This is a great product. Easy setup with excellant HD capabilities. Best Buy had super 1 day sale and I got lucky. Went back next day to buy another for my workshop but sale was over. Beware the new version no longer has SD memory slot. It now is sold as an add on. Still very pleased, just limited. Thus the 4 star rating.

Great benefit if you don't have a smart TV. Why Not

Very easy to set up and use. The only knock to this product is the minimalist remote. Could use just a few more buttons to give users a few more highly usable functions. One caveat, I think the new updated product has those improvements.

I use this in my rural home when network TV is not enough. I don't have gigabit internet. The unit is hot spotted on my 4G LTE network. I seldom get lag or buffering. I like that I can resume watching a show I started the night before at my other home.

Easy to set up. Wish it had Google play movies though

It seem a little more stable than the Fire TV box I had used for years. It is great if you have an Amazon Prime memberships but there is some minor problems which can be irritating. You cannot do any type of sorting with you video library and there is certain apps which are available on Roku, but NOT on Amazon Fire TV.

Does the job. I assume it's sending my personal information to China and selling it to the Democrats since all I see are Joe Biden ads. Hope they upgrade the software to give me a selective ad filter.

I got it for my tv and it was great until it said they are removing youtube... common.

The device runs great, it is fast and portable, the only issue is that you can't cast videos to it. It will appear in the devices that are with in your network, but it seems that the casting feature is disabled in this generation of FireTV.

We are preparing to sell our home, and move, and did not really want to buy a "smart TV" yet. My wife and I , both read the reviews of the Amazon-Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD & Alexa Voice remote, and choose this model. We have been very happy.

I've found that when my satellite goes out due to weather issues, I know I can count on my FireTV. I've also found there are shows on demand here that I can't get on satellite or they're extremely slow making available via their services.
