We bought the FireTV as an upgrade to the FireSticks we have when they went on sale in February. We have a 4k tv so it seemed a good idea, and for awhile it was, but it seems that Amazon has tried to create so many of these so fast that quality control has fallen to the wayside. The remote buttons continually malfunction with one push of a direction or command becoming nonstop until another button is pushed to cancel it. Also less than a month after getting the device it is already stopping to function all together unless we unplug it for 30 seconds and then reconnect power, and this is every day now. We will be returning the product, and while we still recommend the Fire products from Amazon, I would caution consumers to be wary of possible lemons due to faltering quality control.

One of the best little devices I have ever bought. One of the primary reasons I purchased it was that it supported the Dish Network app so I can stream shows, sports, cartoons, etc. for the family on a separate TV.

Bought this when it was on sale for 39.99 to try it out. Overall the interface isn't as good as the regular Amazon Prime App I have on my smart TV. I will keep it as it is very portable and easier setup than my Apple TV.

The one thing that would make this great is including an RJ45 connector or include the adapter with the device, don’t make us have to purchase it separately. Other than that no issues with the device. However, I haven’t had a chance to compare it with the previous 4K version.

This is a high quality product. I use it mostly for the small amount of voice commands it responds to via my Echo Show. It’s usefulness for me stops there mainly because my tv is already smart. Definitely something I’ll use in the future once I upgrade to the Fire TV Cube.

This is a great item. I had to purchase a couple of them.. It works wonders .. I get so many channels on my Television and movies too.. I highly recommend this .. buy it... you will not be disappointed.

Really like the added convience of so many other stations and apps. Allows you to add a lot to your TV and stream shows and live tv. I dropped cable and picked up play station Vue which is cheaper and does well

Didn’t find much use for it. I was using my tv apps more often.

This is the best way we have found to stream the shows we love! It is easy to install and has so much access to programs I did not have with other devices. Will be getting another one for other tv.

We wanted to get rid of our cable because of the ever increasing prices and poor customer service and this allowed us to continue to have access to our favorite shows at a fraction of the cost. Absolutely love it!

Till now, this android box works perfectly fine. I dont have a smart TV but when i use this box the screen look crystal clear and sound is perfect. This box have inbuilt Alexa feature. So, that really helped me to open the app without mulitple remote control clicks

This is great. I am disappointed that it does not have a hard line to the network, only wifi, but that is ok. I like it and it is great if you want to cut the cable and you do not have a smart TV.

The remote on this is absolutely garbage. I've tried all different types of new batteries and no luck. You have to constantly take the batteries out and back in for it to work. You can be in the middle of searching for a show and it locks up. Also you can be right in the middle of watching a program and it logs you off the app, you have to log back in then out again before it lets you use it. I've missed the ending to so many shows I can't even count anymore. On a plus side it does have a good picture on a 4k tv. But what good is the picture if you don't know how the outcome of the show was??

I have this running on a 4K monitor, not a TV. Took a little adjustment with the settings to have it not cut off the edges of the picture. Works better than the Fire Stick I got a few months ago that had a dead remote right out of the box. So far no issues with this.

It work okay but kinda slow and not enough space to storage

I purchased two units as a special deal. I had to exchange one because it would not stay connected to WiFi. Upon my return it appears that I also forfeited my 30 day sling trial. Oh well, my new unit works great along with one the other unit I originally purchased.

I own a Firestick and got the Amazon Fire TV to utilize 4K however see no difference between Firestick and Fire TV.

One of my smart TV doesn’t have all the apps I can watch my shows. (Like Disney +, HBO MAX) but the fire sticks has everything updated and I can watch all of my tv apps
