Bought when it was on sale, price was a plus but lack of offical youtube app is a minus even though there're many alternative apps.

Love streaming with this product I have it for every room in my home it's fast and very responsive not a lot of freezing up

I cut the chord and began streaming to help save money. The firetv has been very reliable and very little buffering needed.

We don't know why we didn't decide to do to this sooner. We are very pleased. This has been a great choice for our family.

We use this along with a chromecast to stream from our devices. A plus to the Fire TV box is the ability to download games.

I got the Fire TV because the "Hulu with Live TV" guide didn't show up on my new Roku Ultra. Well, the Hulu guide does work on the Fire TV, however, the local TV channels (local TV network affiliates) didn't stream properly on the Fire TV. I found that across the board, for every streaming internet TV service that I tried that had local TV stations, none of those local stations worked right. Right now, I'm subscribed to Playstation Vue, and the local TV station on that, a CBS affiliate, stutters frequently, which causes the DVR controls to show up. Very distracting, makes the channel useless to me. I assumed that this sort of problem was the streaming internet TV services fault, naturally. There's lots of Fire TV streamers out there so this problem should have shown up in the Fire TV reviews if it was a Fire TV problem. I finally got worn down by all the adware on the Fire TV, and went back to the Roku Ultra. And what do you know, I found that with the Roku, the local TV stations on the streaming TV providers worked smoothly, as they should. Don't know why, maybe the Roku provides a enough buffering on the live local stations, and the Fire TV doesn't. Anyways, glad that I went back to the Roku, since now things work right, except no guide on Hulu, of course. And, in addition to working as it should with streaming internet TV, the Roku provides ethernet and USB ports. These ports are extras, but useful ones. As a result of my experiences, I cannot recommend this product. Avoid it.

Fire TV is a must have. With so many apps to choose from, this product will keep you from even touching your cable tv box

I really enjoy my Fire TV. I don't experience the buffering that I had with my stick. It definitely worth the upgrade!

So far so good. Still getting used to it but even thought I still only have DSL no issues. Sale price was excellent.

The only way to make the Amazon Fire box any better is to add a voice remote and Alexa...and that's just what they did.

This product is table no different from the previous model. This is good if you don't have the second generation fire stick.

An upgraded streaming option from the fire stick. Everything is in 1080p. No buffering etc... we couldn’t be happier.

I dumped Directv at my business office waiting room because it was not worth the ridiculous monthly cost. I replaced it with the Fire stick and am very pleased
