Cannot turn the tv on/off or control volume like Ruko. If you want it to control the on/off and volume, you need to purchase a separate add-on module. Two of the apps that I need are not available. BestBuy took back and refunded the cost.

Not worth purchasing

The Fire TV I purchased maybe a defective piece, the Internet gets disconnected frequently and every time connecting back to the Wi-Fi is a challenge. Virtually gave up and started using the Roku which by far is a lot better.

The Worst Fire Tv Ever. Avoid.

The menus are glitchy the video is Jerky and cannot handle 4k. I feel stuck because I really like my old Fire TV, but they no longer available. I might have to go to Roku or order an old version of fire tv without 4k. Avoid like the plague if you are a cord cutter. This device will just make the process irritating, and you may go back to cable because the experience is so bad. Keep the course my friends just find a better device. Btw the Best Buy site has this device at 4 and 1/2 stars with no negative comments, but every comment is negative. There is no place for negative comments in review. Buyer beware.

Love and hate relationship

Ended up disconnect everything for weeks to get it to from looping. Buggy device. Good when is working but sometime it feels like a throw away device when it doesn't work due to the low cost.
