Great media device
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just upgraded my second gen Apple TV to this for 2 reasons: Alexa voice control and Plex support. I have my entire dvd and Blu-ray library on my home network through Plex- and this new device has Alexa voice control for Plex. Setup was a little wonky, but there’s nothing better than saying “Alexa, ask Plex to play Spaceballs.” It just works and works great! I’d like to see more Alexa support for other apps like hbo go- and I’m assuming that is coming. The only thing I don’t like about this is that it doesn’t have wired gigabit internet support. I’ve had no issues. Steaming has been stellar so far (I have Fios gigabit internet but I’d imagine my wireless speed on this is closer to 100 megs a second. I should run some tests on that).
