I hooked it up to my AV receiver so we could watch Amazon TV, Hulu and Netflix on the big screen projector in my theater room. We love it!!

Easy to set up.

Great streaming box

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Fire TV with hopes of me gaining some ROM so that my streaming wouldn't buffer as much and also as an upgrade from the Fire Stick that wouldn't allow me to add some up to date apps. It's great for Amazon content but not so good for other streaming apps. As I said.., it's great for Amazon apps. especially with the Alexa voice remote; you just say the magic word and it responds to your request for Prime source streaming services. With this upgrade it buffers more so than it did with the Fire Stick, however; I was told that my smart TV was also a factor in the buffering equation, using a lot of Mbps. I was told by my provider to pay more for internet services in order get more Mbps to clear out the buffering issue, so; if you're in the market for a good streaming device this one might work for you but surely if you put out more dollars you'll get something that can handle the issue.

Great product to cut my cable off
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I watch more tv with the fire tv and enjoy the selection I have with no commercials. Do not miss having cable at all and am saving $100 a month on my cable bill. That is $1200 a year . Love it !!!

Great way to watch TV

Ithe only thing that I dislike is that you are no longer able to use the YouTube app on the fire stick. Which is one of the main reasons I wanted it. But, you can use many apps such as Hulu,m and Netflix with out any issues.
