I was able to upgrade to higher def Netflix with it. The functions are not different than the the Fire stick so there wasn't and of the usual upgrade transition pain.

Good, Basic 4K Streaming

It's pretty user-friendly, but there is still a learning curve if you've never used one (or if, like me, you've had Apple TV).

Slightly disappointed

This thing is much faster than the stick, as it has more power behind it and the picture and user interface are slightly different, in a better way. But it shuts off on me randomly. And it’s usually in the middle of something I am watching. Not sure if I got a defective unit but I am not too thrilled that it’s shutting off. Prob would have recommended to a friend before it started to shut off randomly. Now I’m on the fence. Must need to upgrade or wipe clean and send it back
