I usually eat on my iPad or my 10 year old Kindle, which still works very well! But i decided it was time to update my device. I didn't really look at the measurements when reading the details - just ordered it because the price was right, so i was surprised when it arrived today. I had to feel around in the shipping box to find it and was shocked at hire narrow the product box was. When i opened it i found it's not even as large as my hand (including fingers). It looks like it will fit easily into a pocket in a pair of cargo pants, and maybe even a rear pants pocket - not to mention my purse. This will take some getting used to but i think i will like it.
