Hello DaronG! Thank you so much for your feedback on your Kindle! There are definitely many more options for books for this device than just the Kindle Unlimited subscription. First, you are also able to use an Amazon Prime subscription for a multitude of free Prime Reading options. Second, you are able to sideload compatible books from numerous sources or if you own your own ebooks. Third, you can purchase books directly from Amazon's Kindle store. Fourth, you can use an Audible subscription or audiobooks purchased from Audible to listen to via a Bluetooth headset connection. And finally, you can use your public library if it is set up with outside smartphone apps like Libby or Overdrive to "takeout" books (usually up to 21 days at a time) and then by clicking Read with Kindle. This allows you to send it directly to your Kindle library for your use. I do hope this helps provide your with numerous options to load your Kindle up with books for years to come! Change font and text size: Go to the display settings while reading (tap the top of the screen, then the "Aa" icon) to adjust font style, size, and boldness to your preference.
Enable dark mode: If the screen appears washed out, switching to dark mode (white text on black background) may provide better contrast for your eyes.
Check for screen protectors or film: If a screen protector was applied, it may be affecting clarity. The Kindle's display is designed to be used without one.
Clean the screen: Fingerprints and smudges can dull the display. A soft, dry microfiber cloth can restore clarity.

From the home screen, tap "Library" at the bottom of the screen to see all your books
You can filter your library by tapping "All" at the top and selecting options like "Downloaded," "Books," "Collections," etc.
Tap the three dots (menu icon) in the top right corner for additional sorting options like "Recent," "Title," or "Author"
If you're looking for a specific book, use the search icon (magnifying glass) at the top of the screen

If you're still having trouble:
