Its a great size, has all the bells and whistles as the 6.8 version, The wife wanted this one back for travel and easier to carry around. Easier in hand as well. And for the price, you can't beat it.

I bought this Kindle E-Reader for my son, at his reuest, as a birthday gift. When I asked him how it was a week later his response was "I love it!" Very high praise from a hard to impress young adult. My son is a avid reader and he recently decided to move on from physical books to digital at this point he is likely never going back. He found the Kindle easy to use and read with, even in bright light.

This is my 3rd Kindle since they launched and I love it. Small and lightweight and with travelling round the world it's been everywhere. Good battery life

Best one yet! I've had a few of these (from one of the original white ones), and this new Paperwhite is the best out there - great backlight, easy page turning, and highly configurable screen. The only real negative is extra $ for a "no-ad lock screen" - kind of ridiculous... I'm guessing you can ignore the lock screen (I do), but it's the principle. There are other great Kindles out there to match your personal preferences as well - bigger screen, page buttons, storage, etc.

Does exactly what i needed it too. I wish the software wasn't glitchy in terms of it looks like it's pixelated as it changes. At first I thought it was broke until I looked up a Youtube video and saw thats how it's suppose to be. I bought this item in store but mine as well have bought it online because they didn't even have this model available to look out I wanted to compare the size of the larger kindle to this one. I did set up after to not have the ads at first I thought it was fine until I got annoyed being advertised on a device I own its crazy but I guess its how amazon makes up the money it loses using KU and selling books for cheaper then retai.

I like the size of the kindle, ease of using it, great for traveling. I love to read and toting books on a plane or in the car takes up valuable packing room. I feel a must have for avid readers.

Super light and easy to set up. Didn’t realize it’d be B&W but that’s on me—not great for graphic novels but that wasn’t my reason for purchase.

This kindle has made reading fun for me. Super convenient - it fits in my purse so i can take it anywhere, feels like I read 10x faster. And the charge holds sooooo long. Literally didnt have to charge it for a week and a half and I read every day.

I was reading on my kindle app on my iPad Pro but it was too big and uncomfortable so I decided to get one of these and it’s great and easy to pack on trips and the battery last fairly long on one charge.

Got one for Christmas for my wife. She loves it. Perfect size and features. She loves she can place in her back pocket and carry it around. She also loves the lighting features.

I love my new kindle, it helps with not having to go buy books saves me a lot of space and time. It’s nice on my eyes too doesn’t hurt them like a phone would do.

This was purchased as a Christmas present for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. She says it’s the perfect size and lightweight enough to carry around in her purse and perfect for reading before bed.

It is nice to read on the Kindle as it is very compact! I love cuddling in my bed as I read my kindle, that has become my stress reliever. The battery life is amaaaazing! Lasts not days, but WEEKS!

After a decade, my wife's old Kindle finally quit working. We inspected several models and options before she bought the 2022 version of the Kindle e-reader. It is very light and easy for her to hold. The contrast adjustability is great for her night reading.

Lightweight with a good sized screen. This kindle is worth the money.

This is the closest thing to reading an ink and paper book. I was so surprised. It is very easy on the eyes, and it is light and easy to hold. I would highly recommend.

I didn't think I'd use this all that often. I've used it every day since I bought it. It's small, light, easy on the eyes, and totally legible. I am in love.

this is a refined product to deliver a very specific use and it does it well. for an introductory product it is great. You wont regret the purchase, but you will want more from it. While not a deal breaker, it is small. I end up having to make the print larger and it's a like reading an index card at a time. Sometimes having to swipe constantly gets tiresome. This shouldn't be an issue for normal people who have good eyes, but I wear glasses, work on a computer all day, and read in bed. so having a larger font just helps with eye strain. handling this puppy can be a little bothersome without a case. having to touch the screen to change pages isnt too bad, but the bezels are narrow enough to make this kind of annoying if you're not perfectly postured or if your using it naked without a case. Again, not a deal breaker, but it's annoying dont expect to be reading text books with linked references, magazines with a lot of side content, or [as it happens to me] The Bible when you want to skip around. It just doesn't perform well enough to deal with the latency, navigation, pinching and zooming, refreshing. again this isnt a deal breaker, but you end up wanting more. Larger, faster, etc etc. When it's all said and done, I have been happy with this thing. I feel like I can damage it, have it stolen, forget it in an airport and it wouldn't necessarily ruin my life. its affordable, the backlight has plenty of adjustment for any light environment, the e-ink reads clearly, the customization is plenty, the kindle ecosystem is great, the amazon backups are easy to work with. in all , I recommend it.

I bought this for my wife for her birthday. It is extremely light, has great battery life, and is extremely convenient. It was a great purchase!
