I thought it wasnt for me

I decided to buy it on a whim. I love it. I bought it on vacation and I love how i can take it out and not be distracted. With the kindle you only focus on the book, not any other apps. I own an ipad and really didnt see the purpose, but i noticed how my eyes strain less while reading on the kindle. Its so slim it can go with you anywhere. I love the backlit display, it makes reading at night so much better.
