I didn't think I'd use this all that often. I've used it every day since I bought it. It's small, light, easy on the eyes, and totally legible. I am in love.

This is a very light weight black and white reader for kindle books. The battery life is long, and it is easy to carry around, being much lighter and more compact than a paperback. It does require a decent wifi connection and an Amazon Kindle account. Recommended.

I bought this for my wife for her birthday. It is extremely light, has great battery life, and is extremely convenient. It was a great purchase!

After years of owning a Kindle Fire, I decided that I wanted something lighter and easier to hold/carry without the battery drain that Fires are notorious for. Additionally, I used the extras on the Fire so rarely that simple sounded perfect, and thankfully this checked every box. Since I was also in need of something quickly (the electrician was scheduled the next day for service work, which meant no power for several hours) I was very happy to see that my local Best Buy had them in stock. I bought this for my daughter who enjoys reading books online. This item has multiple uses and easy to use. She takes it with her wherever she goes. Great gift or if you enjoy digital books or want a tablet for yourself. The size is perfect to fit in your purse or work bag. It’s affordable and you won’t regret it.

I love the backlight option. Setting to 0 gives you that paper readung experience. Is your overhead light a little too dim? Add some backlight! Super easy on the eyes and I love the small size.

I love my Kindle it is such a good purchase. I love being able to bring my whole digital library with me everywhere I go. Amazon gave me a hard time removing the ads. Best Buy doesn’t tell you there will be ads on it, and Amazon charges a fee to remove the ads. I should have been told about that before purchase. That’s the only issue I had with my kindle. Once I argued with Amazon to remove the ads, the kindle became my favorite thing in the world. No complaints.

This item is perfect size and easy to use! The graphics are great considering its black and white. Worth the price!

I am a man who wears gym shorts. May not seem relevant, but this kindle fits perfectly in my pockets, and I have been taking it everywhere. Reading programming books, and stories. Many of which I have myself without needing to buy from Amazon. It’s nice that I can use my own books with this device. Some settings are a bit weird and opening images is not always consistent which sucks for some of the programming ebooks i have. Also the dictionary should be a little easier to use, but these are nitpicks that don’t detract from the value of this amazing product
