The battery life is long, and it is easy to carry around, being much lighter and more compact than a paperback. It does require a decent wifi connection and an Amazon Kindle account. Recommended.

I currently have a paper white of my own from a few years ago and several older ones floating around in the campter and truck, yes I like to read. This new model feels every bit as good as my older ones. I did notice that the lighting felt more adjustable which I appreciate. It's light responsive, stores a large number of books and is a worthy successor to the other kindles I own.

Since it’s no longer supported I shopped for a new, similar version and found it at a good price at our neighborhood Best Buy and picked it up curbside. Very happy with the product, price, and ease of purchase. This one is smaller than I imagined but I can read clearly from it ( at age 67) and it actually fits more nicely in my purse!!!
