Oasis not so great

I also had to sign up for Goodreads as part of activating my device, and then jump through hoops to get out of Goodreads later. Battery life is SHORT - Amazon promised "weeks" and I am now having to charge the battery every 3-4 days, even though I keep the device on Airplane mode.

Disappointed

I downloaded some books and the Kindle won’t hold a charge for 24 hours. I am very disappointed. I have an appointment with the geek squad and I hope to get a new device. Perhaps this one is just a lemon!

Pixel Issue

Poor Quality

Recharged to FULL CHARGE, one and a half hours of reading, “low battery” light came in. Recharged, screen flashing, screen froze, no more recharge, it was RETURN!!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Poor battery compared to KOBO that lasts 10x longer and Nook that lasts 5x longer. also after 18 months the device will no longer charge to 100% Now stops at 96% which drives me nuts. my OCD kicks in right there. I am a light reader and still have to charge once or twice a week, kobo I can go 2 months between charges.

Doesn't work without wi-fi

I was on hold for hours today, while being transferred four times through the Geek Squad before the call was disconnected. It might be a simple fix to get it to work without wi-fi, but I haven't found it.
