This e reader is great because of higher pixel dpi - no blemish to detract from reading. My only grip is it’s kind of a finger print magnet slash sweaty but it’s my first e-reader so maybe that’s to be expected and I don’t use a case. Try reading in landscape mode it’s so comfy and feels like less natural reading eye fatigue somehow.

Overall, Great battery life, I love the ebooks from Amazon, been having it for awhile now and there had been no issues at all, price worthy, yet Amazon ads are still on the lockscreen unless you pay an additional 20 dollars to get rid of those, but overall appeal, build quality, functionality and design, 5 stars.

Upgrading from paper white to oasis is so worth it. My pinky no longer hurts from having to prop up the paperwhite. The grip on the oasis make it so comfortable to read for 3 hours the other day. I love the light for outdoor night time reading. Will see how that goes when summer time comes.

I've been reading on tablets for quite some time... Most of my books are kept on my iPad which I had to charge multiple times a day when reading for long sessions outdoors. The kindle solved all my poblems as it is easy to read in direct sunlight and the battery lasts a long time

The Oasis is a touch expensive. But the screen is wonderful.

I recently had to have major surgery with a significant recovery period. I wanted something that I could keep by my bed that would replace the need for multiple books and magazines.The Kindle worked perfectly. I really appreciate my kids for recommending it to me.

If you take your reading seriously and want the rolls Royce experience, this is your ereader. It’s probably a bit too much for a casual reader, you can buy a full blown tablet for cheaper, but if you have to have the best, this is it.

With a case that covers the entire reader it is very comfortable. Battery life is decent, I can ready about 800 pages between charges. Only negative so far is sometimes the button does not forward the page so I click it a second time and it jumps 2 pages.

I owned the Kindle Keyboard, Kindle Paperwhite, and purchased new generation Kindle Oasis recently. It feels much more premium with the aluminium casing than first generation. It is so great!

I love this kindle. I had one of the first generation kindles that they made and this one is so much better. I love to read before bed and this kindle has the backlighting to allow me to read without having to many lights on.

This is probably the best e reader from amazon, but it’s hard to justify the cost of it over the paper white. That’s said, if you can catch it on sale like I did it’s worth it.

This is my wife's 4th Kindle and this is by far her favorite. Her only recommendation is that you definitely will want a cover for it as the back is very slick and almost dropped it a couple times. The cover fixed that issue.

I have 2 other kindles and really like this one the best the other 2 are good but I like the size of this one and that there are much buttons to move from page to page instead of just putting pressure on the side.

Great for reading it can be on the sun and it looks good and clean . The touch screen is a little laggy but its tricky at the beginning
