I am absolutely thrilled with the Kindle Paperwhite. The screen quality is amazing, and its ability to be read in bright, direct daylight is a game-changer. There's very little glare, making it feel just like reading a physical book, whether I'm at the beach or in my backyard. The convenience of carrying my entire library in such a light and slim device is unbeatable. It truly combines the simple, comfortable experience of reading a paper book with the convenience of a digital library. I highly recommend it!

I bought this for my wife as an anniversary present. She has used her iPad to readbut she didn't like the size and weight of it. She wasn't sure if she would like the Kindle at first, but has grown to really enjoy it. It's light and it is about the size of a paperback book. My gift-giving attempt has been redeemed.

I was really skeptical whether I would use this Kindle much. I always liked the feel of a book in my hand, but I’ve got to admit. I absolutely love it. It takes a little getting used to, but it’s so easy on the eyes and the back lighting is adjustable. It’s very lightweight and easy to take on a plane by the pool or the beach. I was very surprised with how long the battery lasts. I would definitely buy this again.

I got this gift for my sister as a Christmas present and she loved it! The screen, the durable feel, and the display. I did see it alittle small, but she says it’s perfect. Thank you Best Buy.

I purchased this for my wife who struggles with reading on harshly lit screens. This mimics the look and feel of paper extremely well and allows her to read in any environment. The screen size is about the size of a standard paperback, which sometimes feels small but adds to the portability. The permanent ads on the lock screen are annoying, but unobtrusive enough to overlook.

Lightweight and all the books on the go made this device really helpful. I like the display and it doesn’t make my eyes feel tired like tablets.

I considered the color versions of the Kindle e-readers, but found their contrast to be too low for comfort, and opted for this model. I think I'm glad I did...since the text is crisp and clear (in sufficient light, or with the backlight on). Its battery usage is wonderful, lasting typically a week or two with fairly heavy use. My one complaint, so far, at least, besides the gray-scale pictures, is that signing in is frustrating in low light. I normally leave the backlight off, since I typically have sufficient light to read without it. However, when I need to turn on the device (which I have passcode-protected), it turns on the backlight during the initial start-up, but then, inexplicably, turns it OFF when asking for the code. This is very annoying, and requires unnecessary planning ahead to ensure that the backlight is ON at this point (by turning it on, then shutting off the device). The user interface is a little clunky, compared to the Kindle app on iPhone, but since I spend the vast majority of my time with the device simply reading, it's not a major issue.

Overall the Paperwhite is a good reader - small enough, light enough, easy definition lookups, good adjustments for the fonts, contrast etc. The big negative is the power button on the bottom next to the charging port - just propping the reader against something to read at an angle will part of the time hit the power button...also, the outer shell of the reader is many times too slick for propping it up to read at an angle on a table or countertop without the reader sliding down flat on its back on the table or counter. In my case, I had to get a case that was softer/more friction so it would prop up ok and would also raise the bottom of the reader enough to clear the power button so as not to turn the reader off. I highly suggest moving the power button to the top right side and also incorporate a kickstand in the back of the paperwhite itself

It has a pretty decent amount of storage for books, and it’s user-friendly as well. The pages look like an actual book, but lighter.

Bought this for my brother in law for Christmas. He already has over 200 books downloaded and still has room for more. No glare, easy on his eyes. He lives it!

Ordering my Kindles from Best Buy online was very easy. The checkout was smooth, very quick shipping, and was packaged well. I bought two, one for myself and one for my daughter, and we’re both very happy! The screens are clear and easy to read, friendly to use, and the battery lasts forever! I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience!

I love my Kindle! Took me years to switch to Kindle from reading on my iPad, but I travel a ton, and frankly, the iPad is heavy in my tote bag, and doesn't hold a charge. Since I got my Kindle, I find myself reading more and scrolling less, and that is a win!

I love reading but was tired of paper books or reading on my phone. This device was great. I use the night mode as well and its much easier on the eyes than the ipad or phone. The battery lasts a long time, and there's tons of custom covers out there to be had. The only thing I wish it had was a "left hand" version or the ability to turn it upside down and hold it with the cover on the other side. Otherwise, 10/10 would highly recommend.
