This is my third Kindle. I have one of the original Kindles and also one of the later versions. I bought this Kindle so that I could read at night without turning on the light and disturbing my wife. Love my Kindles

I bought this to replace my Kindle Touch I bought years ago. The other Kindle is still working but I use it so much I didn’t want to take a chance that it would stop working and be without one. Love that this one is backlit.

This was actually a gift for a family member. Maybe one day I'll cave in and buy one to play around with. Otherwise a good little tablet you can carry around in place of books!!

My kindle is light weight, I take it everywhere with me. I can order books on the spot, no more having to wait for amazon or driving to the store in search of a good read. I would recommend this for any avid reader.

I absolutely LOVE the Kindle Paperwhite. The battery life is great - reading a half hour to an hour a day it lasts 2-3 weeks. Screen backlight is very easy on the eyes and adjustable in brightness. This is one of my best tech purchases.

I love the fact I can have one device to keep all my books in one spot. The books recommended to me by my history is just handy enough to be dangerous. I find more books and series I would have otherwise have never known about.

Reading electronic books are great. You can read books on your phone, your computer, your tablet. Unfortunately, none of those work well in bright sunlight. The Paper White makes reading in bright sunlight possible. :)

I like it and the item is really good. But the item is fragile

biased in favor of right handed persons but performs as promised. it would be nice if a lefty could move pages with his left hand as a righty can move pages with his right hand.

Wife likes it, and I can sleep at night without the room getting lit up.

This is the first time I buy a kindle product. And the price is fairly good since I get the 20 discount! The screen reads like real papers. But the background light I think is not necessary because it will reduce the quality of reading.

This is my 2nd kindle paperwhite device and I really love it.
