Love this lightweight easy to read Kindle. Carry it with me all the time especially to the beach and pool. So easy to see! My sister bought one the same week I did, she liked it so much.

I had one of the original Kindles and gave it to my daughter when I got an iPad. As much as I love my iPad, it's not ideal as an E-reader. After a trip or two this summer to the beach with a good old fashioned paperback, I figured I'd try out the New Kindle Paperwhite. I'm so glad I did! It is small, lightweight, and holds a charge for days! I love it, and have been reading book after book since my purchase.

I had a 2nd generation Kindle and loved it, this one is even better. Very easy to use, great battery life and the backlight is awesome.

I was amazed at how clear and crisp the letters appear. I can't put it down. It is light and easy to hold and page. I like the size because it is easy to carry but big enough to use.

I had an older Kindle and enjoyed it for many years. After I accidentally left it out in the rain, I was worried that I would not enjoy the newer versions as much as I had the old version. I was wrong. I absolutely love it! I enjoy reading outdoors and it's great to be able to read into the night - the fact that it is backlit is great!

This item was purchased as a gift and the recipient has been very pleased with the paperwhites readability and battery life. It was just what she was looking for.

I'm high-tech in most ways but have always been a traditionalist when it comes to books. I love the feel of paper in my hands. This was my first eBook reader and I'm surprised to be 100% satisfied. I've read more in the past month than I had in the previous year. I have no complaints about it at all. Small and durable. Light works great and is easily adjustable. I thought I would hate the advertisements but it's really just on the screen when the power is off, then it goes away when you start to read. I mostly use Overdrive for library books, and it's a bit of a pain (since you need a computer and the Kindle), but it's well worth it.

I bought the Kindle Paper White for travel, its so much lighter than bulky books and can fit in your hand luggage/pocket to read while travelling. So easy to use no screen glare like tablets have so you can read it anywhere. Has adjustable screen brightness and font size too. Has the technology to allow you to order and download books from anywhere you happen to be. I love it so much I bought my sister one too!

I am a previous kindle owner - my favorite feature of this kindle is the back light. I love to sit outside and read and this makes is possible without having to juggle a light

We are trying to make reading easier and fun for my 7 year old daughter. This paperwhite is great! very light and easy to use. Pros: Easy on the eyes Lightweight Amazon library Save money via e-books Reading tablet(no distractions from regular tablets w/games) Easy to use from a 6 year old and up. Cons: Only con is it does not come with a wall plug for charging

I am sorry I waited so long to purchase the paperwhite. I read everyday and this device is so much easier on my eyes and is small enough to carrry anywhere.

Very light to carry and easy to read in all light situations. The battery life makes it great for when you are on the road.

I was hesitant to buy a Kindle Paperwhite as I already owned an entry level Kobo that was about 6 years old. However, I'm goad that I upgraded as this device is smaller, lighter, and more ergonomic. Its a lot easier to hold for an extended period of time. Additionally, as part of the Kindle ecosystem, borrowing e-books from the library is a snap and no longer requires me to hook up to my computer.

My husband prefers the Paperwhite model over the Voyager because it is easier for him to hold in his big fat fingers since it has a larger frame so more room for the fingers. And Kindle Paperwhite and Voyager models are much easier to read for long hours than tablets (easier on the eyes). I have an iPad and still have a Kindle for reading. I highly recommend the Kindle Paperwhite and Voyager models.

She was so excited to receive it and likes that she can read it outside in the sun or inside in the dark. Big improvement over the original Kindle which I also gave her.

I Love my kindle... I am now giving them as gifts! Read in sun, at night... battery lasts a very long time... can’t think of anything I would change!

The screen is sharp, variable fonts, variable sizes, the back light does not get your eyes tired as the phone or tablet screen, you can read it day or night and has a ton of space, synchronizes with amazon, or with the computer with caliber. The only drawback is that it does not read PDF’s

Easy to use. Easy on the eyes. We actually own 2. We have owned older version Kindles and this is the best one so far.

I love the Kindle paperwhite reader. I chose the Kindle Amazon Paperwhite because I can read in the sun. We live at the beach and I like to read outside. It is so easy to use. So many books to choose from. Very easy download. Has a lot of great features. It is light weight and easy to take anywhere. Great Product.

Kindle is still the top ereader. My first one finally "wore" out from years of daily use. It was so light to hold and to travel with. Battery life was great and it was so easy to read in daylight. This updated model is so much better. The backlight is a great improvement and is such a delight to use at night while reading in bed. This basic model is really all you need for reading books
