As it turns out I'm really glad I did. The light is adjustable and the "print" is crisp and clear. Even better is the ability to enlarge the print which has been helpful to my old eyes. There is a great ebook selection available from the library and many cheap books available on Amazon.

This one stole my heart the moment I picked it up. It's great - and is life-changing for someone with visual issues, for whom reading on standard screens is painful. This version of the Paperwhite is comfortable on the eyes and I love it. It's also sleek and just feels good to hold.
