The kindle paperweight is a nice sized tablet good for reading in any lighting. You're able to see it in the bright sun light as well as the dim lit room

Although I've always wished I read more, I never would find the time to get to it. Having the Kindle made it so practical to own and read books, especially at night time, now that I don't have to keep the lights on and bother my partner. A must-have for anyone, those who read regularly and those who are interested in reading more.

Much prefer reading books on my Kindle than on iPad

This Kindle is great for buying books without cluttering up your house. I like being able to take my library with me wherever I go. And I don't have to hold the kindle, I can just prop it up and tap to turn the pages. What I don't like is that it's hard to flip back and forth in the book to re-find a passage on a previous page. Many of the features are not user friendly: e.g. bookmarks, highlighting passages. How hard can it be to make the Kindle really user friendly? This is not rocket science is it?

This edition does not have backlighting which is a big deal!!! If you like reading in bed or indoors without needing to use external lighting, you should not get this version! Get one of the newer editions! If you only read in well lit areas, then go for this one! Kindle is fantastic and I love my white lightweight long lasting kindle with the option to use background light.

This is my first e-reader, and I generally like it. The lit screen is bigger, and makes it readable in a wide variety of lightnings. The text is crisp and easy to read. I'm very accustomed to using 8+ inch tablets, so a 6" screen feels a little small, but it if sufficient when you are just reading, and not looking for new books.

Sorry for the late review. I really love this Kindle Paperwhite! Function is very good and better than my previous one without background light. The price is much cheaper than I expect as it's really expensive when I planned to buy it in China and from Amazon. I love reading books with this Kindle Paperwhite.

I will buy another one. Very convenient and portable.
