This is my first e-reader, and I generally like it. I've been using it for a couple of months on weekends, and haven't yet needed to charge it since the first time after buying it. The lit screen is bigger, and makes it readable in a wide variety of lightnings. The text is crisp and easy to read. I'm very accustomed to using 8+ inch tablets, so a 6" screen feels a little small, but it if sufficient when you are just reading, and not looking for new books.

Looks like a real book! It's amazing! It doesn't last weeks like it says maybe a little over a week but I don't mind charging my electronics. It's really nice especially if you have kindle unlimited! I would recommend for people who like to read on the go!

I bought myself a Kindle at Best Buy and loved it so much that I decided to buy one for my daughter. Great place to buy any electronics. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. I buy all me electronics at Best Buy. They have good deals and price matching.

After being really hesitant on switching from hard copy books to a kindle I decided to go for it. Ever since I've used it I have loved it simplicity and how adapting it can be to light. Still love paper copied books, but kindle versions are much simpler.

Researched alot and found this to be the best for the money. Great for traveling and overall reading. I love real books but going to library was getting harder with my work schedule. Plus I can loan out my books and keep them to reread later!

I decided to get a Kindle because I was having issues reading on my backlit tablet. The screen lighting on the paper white doesn't have this issue. I also like the lack of distractions, I don't have e-mails or texts popping up while I'm trying to read.

Lighting from product is great for reading in a totally dark room yet light is soft on the eyes. It has been great for making me fall asleep at night which is what I was looking for. Reading with regular room light kept me awake.

Love the paperwhite. It's light and small and perfect to throw in my bag and take with me wherever I go.

I have had a kindle for years. After my husbands was stolen we had to get another. The setup is easy, getting books couldn't be any easier, I even get free books through my library which download through Amazon. Would be lost without my Kindle.

My late stepmother had a Kindle Fire that she used to read her electronic novels and my wife loved how much easier they were to read than on the iPads. Lots of great reviews of the Kindle Paperwhite so this will be a great Christmas gift this year!

Got this for only $90. Really great deal for this machine. I just love to read, and it is more fun reading with this Kindle. I have been waiting for deals like this for a long time and will buy another one as a gift next time the deal is on.

Great reader for the price. Good battery life. A little smaller than I expected but is well built.

I'm so far loving this e-reader. Haven't used it outside yet, but the lighting seems really good. I'm taking it on vacation next week, it will be my lifesaver for long flights and waits. (I only wish it had a headphone jack and audio option)

I love kindles. Not matter how many models they release, they always go back to the paper white and for a reason. Perfect size and feel. I carry this thing everywhere and it beats my iPad when it comes to reading.

the paperwhite is handy for those that just like to "read" and dont want to use a tablet. The integral backlit screen is nice for nite time reading without disturbing your partner in bed, and the wifi allows for easy downloading.

Solid device that delivers on all advertised specifications. Easy to use both with Amazon and calibre

Compare to the my old Kindle this so much easier to read no matter where the place or the lighting.
