Quick and easy setup impressed me. I bought this as a gift for my mom. Within 3 minutes she had the device registered, connected to her WiFi and downloading her Amazon book collection. Seeing the device made me want one for myself!

Generally speaking, I'm a die hard for print but, having just moved, I wanted to give digital media another try. I absolutely adore my Paperwhite. It's light, easy to use, and great to read on. I highly recommend it.

This is perfect for reading anywhere and being able to download books in a foreign country and having them at my fingertips. Being able to adjust the light and font size is very nice. This has been a convenient asset to my life.

I bought this as a gift for my wife. A couple of years ago I bought her a Kindle Fire, which she loves, but couldn't use while in the sunlight on the beach. The new Paperwhite will solve that issue. Happy wife, happy life.

My wife and I have been trying to decide between the Paperwhite and the new Nook for a while. After checking each out, the Paperwhite was definitely a clear winner. Amazon support + unique features = a newfound interest in reading!

We purchased the Kindle Paperwhite for my husband. He loves being able to read without using a book light or lamp. He owned the first Kindle that came out, so the “touching” ability on the Paperwhite is especially nice.

I wanted a simple device strictly for books. I did not want pop up pictures or current events running across the bottom of the screen. This is the tool for me. I keep one at home and one in the car for wait times at appointments.

First time user of tablet reader. Previously consumed paperback books. Was not sure how is would like a reader so did not want to invest in high end product but wanted good quality..Kindle White fits the bill perfectly.

Easy on the eyes for night time reading. Is a little slow, lags a little. Otherwise great.

There have been a few minor changes included in this new Kindle that I don't particularly like.Opening page is slightly confusing.

I love to read books and was using the app on my phone or iPad. After a while of reading my eyes would cross and I’d become very tired. With my kindle paper white that doesn’t happen!! So glad I made the purchase

I had previously purchased the first kindle fire for reading but I would get distracted with all those other apps you can get on it. When the kindle paper white came out I decided I’ll give it a try. I love reading in the dark with it and that it looks like the pages in a physical book. I also love the word wise it helps to review words you didn’t know later if you want, growing your vocabulary.

The amazon reader is everything I dreamed it would be. I can read in the dark. It helps me get to sleep sooner, because the light is not as bright. My love of reading has only increased! ! A great purchase no doubt about that! !

Purchased the Kindle Paperwhite, prior to an international trip. It was well worth the investment! I created my own book cover (black), since one was not available (orange ... I don't think so) from the store at the time of purchase.

I love being able to download books and read them whenever I want. I carry it in my purse and can read it anytime I'm in a situation where I'm waiting, on the bus, etc. It's much more convenient than carrying a book around. The only thing that I'd improve is making it easier to get the homepage/toolbar to display.

When I first opened the box, I was unsure as to my feelings about this new Kindle. BUT, after learning to use it, the performance has been first rate. The variable brightness makes it easy on the eyes to read day or night.

I bought this for a friend. I have the 2013 version and I love it. Great gift for avid readers and those just looking for something light to hold. The Backlighting makes it wonderful for reading in the middle of the night. :)

This has the same pixel density as the $200 Kindle Voyage, the biggest differences being no pressure sensitive buttons and there isn't a glass screen flush with the bezel. The Paperwhite is the best value of the Kindle lineup.

Love my new paperwhite kindle. Syncs with my older Touch Kindle and if I let one battery run down, can pick up on the other. Love the ability to read my paperwhite in low light areas which could not do with older kindle.
