Extremely easy to use and to purchase. The touch screen works well and the auto on-off is very helpful. Love the ability to just close and system is off and not using battery.

Has a dictionary, web to search for books, discounts in books. I love this too much!!! Recommend! Doesn’t hurt my eyes at all and has LED light for night reads :)

Our daughter had asked for The Paperwhite for Christmas, and she was delighted when she opened it. She used it for hours every day, so we view this as a really proper gift.

Bought it for my wife to replace her old Kindle fire. The paperwite can't do everything the Fire can so she keeps both with her but prefers to read on the paperwhite.

I was not sure about making the jump to an e-reader vs. books, but now I just can't put it down. It is easy on the eyes and I can download new titles instantly. It is great

This kindle is totally worth buying. Does not have all the fancy bells and whistles that will almost never be used but has exactly what you need to just enjoy a good read.

I lost my old kindle and had to replace - the new model is great. Tip for couples - we got one in white and one in black - easy to tell whose is whose.

Bought for spouse and finally got her to give up her Sony ereader. She loves it and I'm a hero. Kindle is probably one of the greatest technology items of all time.

I've had every Kindle e-reader available. Though it doesn't have all the features available on the Voyage, the Paperwhite is the best. The issue I've had are the emergence of tiny light "leaks" emerging from the source through the matte textured page background. They're little pinhole-sized, bright light scattered across the page. It usually begins with just one, or two, and becomes several over time. It's distracting to reading. In a conventional book, it would be like having a small speck of dirt on the page. If these little things don't bother you, then it's not an issue. The Paperwhite models don't seem to have this problem as often as the Voyage does. I went through 3 Voyage models before surrendering and returning to the Paperwhite. The Paperwhite has fewer total lights, so it's not as evenly lit as the Voyage, however, it's nothing significant.

I got the kindle for my wife and as an avid book readerand she was a bit skeptic about it at first. She now uses it all the time and is able to have multiple books available at a moments notice is a plus. The backlighting is wonderful for reading before bed and is easy on the eyes in direct sunlight.

Enjoy using the Kindle White paper. It is compact.

Bought it as a gift for my daughter as an iPad replacement. Reading without distraction is priceless. Connectivity with local public library makes kindle more valuable.

I bought this to replace an old model Kindle. The only reason was so that I could have a good reading light for bedtime reading. This Kindle accomplishes that very well.

Been a Kindle fan since 1.0. Keeps getting better. I thought the original Paperwhite was perfect however the extra storage and speed are needed and a welcome addition.
