All I wanted was a black and white reader at a good price and that is what I happily got. Simple perfection.

I absolutely love the kindle. I can read it in the sun or in the dark in bed. The lighting is perfect for all kinds of atmospheres.

I purchased the Amazon - Kindle Paperwhite to replace my wife's Kindle fire. She loves it and says it is so much easier to read.

It is highly recommended for someone who loves reading. Easy set up, lots of books to download. I have iPad, but this beats reading experience hands down. One downside is that the new Kindle Paperwhite has lower battery life compared to it's previous generation. Hence only 4 star.

This is the best gift ever, I use it to read when I have time away from the kids (at school). Definitely would recommend to others.

if you love reading but don't like reading books this is great because you can read books here and not carry too much weight with you

This e reader is very lightweight, holds a charge for days and is easy to use. Be aware that the display is only black and white so books with pictures are not the best on here. Besides that it is great at reducing eye strain and the backlit screen makes for added versatility.

This product has great features. I like the display which looks like a real paper. Also love listening to audio books. Really helpfull

Being a senior citizen getting adjusted to new ideas is difficult for me. Learning period was quick and simple for this product.

This e-reader is great for the price I bought it for! Although I bought it on sale I would still buy even if it were original price! It doesn’t seem like 4GB would be a lot of storage, however I’ve been told that it’s enough to store quite a bit of books.

It's my first time owing a kindle. But so happy I purchase it. All my favorite books in one place. Love the light and how practical it is.

Just what I wanted. A tablet for reading, no need for WiFi access, email, etc. Good screen viewing in direct sunlight as intended.

No complains so far except maybe could do with better resolution and "whiteness". Wish the device came with its own lid to protect the screen and give an actual book like experience when opening ! It has certainly encouraged my kid to read a lot more though !

I got this for my 8 year old because he loves to read and i wanted something that he couldnt browse the internet on. He loves it so far.
