Bought this reader a couple of years ago. It worked pretty good. But I sense then graduated to an excellent tablet.

I bought this for my dad because he loves to read but, sometimes, it's difficult to get to the library in the Winter. So far, he's loving it.

Got this to replace my old 3G Kindle with Keyboard and it is great that I don't have to use a outside light to read after dark. Good job Amazon!

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter in law, it was just what she wanted, didn't want lots of extras . Good light to view & read with.

Unable to use for anything but Kindle and this severely limits its usefulness. The screen is very readable in sunlight, nice feature.

I bought this to reduce my "screen time. It's really helped me at work by helping me stay focused while reading PDFs and manuals

This is a great product. The only problem is the screen side is still a little small, successful is not as far as I see.

I love physical books too, I'm with you. But I know myself, and I know that once I forget to take the book I'm reading with me, that's it. I'll start another book and rarely finish the first. I also know if I try and read on my phone or iPad that I'll get distracted and start wondering about what's happening on the internet (Instagram's not gonna scroll ITSELF). Either way I'm not finishing the book.

Like the fact that it is strictly an e-reader. Wished it was a bit larger like the Fire HD 8 tablet - but pleased with my purchase

Very happy we bought this, it's convenient and practical for easy light reading. Access to titles is great and inexpensive.

I can easily fit this into my bag, and it is also easy to use! It has no glare, but i takes a while to charge.

Bought this for my daughter, she likes it a lot. Her only complaint is that the black case can get hot in the sun.

The only complaint is the limitation without a membership is available. Wish I got some things free with purchase.

Son reports it work FANTASTICLY at UC IRVINE. Displays PDFs quite well. Fewer non- school distractions than other tablets.

Would prefer hardware buttons and wish you could access public library digital book. Other than that works great in the dark.

Really happy with this new Kindle and the fact that I can read at night and not have to use a reading light. Highly recommend
