Pages look great. Adding books and documents is a snap. Reading books on this kindle is fun. Also very useful for manuals, installation guides and other technology related materials, since they tend to be very big in print.

I purchased this for my father who is an avid reader. He enjoys being able to move between different books. Combining it with a Kindle Unlimited membership adds even more value over purchasing books.

I just got back from a 9 month deployment. I threw this product around, got dust and mud in it. I dropped it from 20 feet and read it in thick mist. I read 52 books in 9 months. This thing is awesome. I always like paper products but there is no way i could have that many books around Iraq. Get this. Also the battery is really good recharged off a solar charger.

This was a gift to my husband. It's the only e-reader that can be read in sunlight and since we were going to Hawaii, I thought it'd be nice for him not to have to lug along a bunch of books (I already had my Kindle).

The Paperwhite is very convenient. Great battery life. I still love books, but with the Paperwhite, I can have multiple books going at once, depending on what I feel like reading at the time. Overall a great product.

Like most people considering this, I prefer books over digital screens. The Kindle is a fantastic piece of kit, with a months-long battery life and a back-light for reading in dark areas. As far as I'm concerned, there's no need to get a higher model than a Paperwhite, as the screen and the back-light are the only two features needed. Highly recommended.

It is super lightweight and has an adjustable backlight for easy reading in dim to dark areas, and its not hard on eyes. I love that there is no glare, so reading outside is always on my to do list. It is not only good for reading but finding books as well with GoodReads. It has media connections like Facebook to find what people you know are reading. Downloading books is quick and easy, I just wish I would have spent the extra money on the convenience of free 3G. It also has child functions to make sure your child is reading daily and appropriate books available for them using FreeTime. They can even earn rewards for how much they read. Overall very recommended for anyone.

Love the screen; very easy on the eyes compared to other electronic devices. This this can handle some drops and a little bit of water too; i;m glad that it's tough.

Reasonably priced, well-designed, great display and easy to use. My daily commute on the Boston MBTA Red Line is far more tolerable reading something of interest and the device is a perfect size for a crowded subway train. Make sure to get the protective cover, too. Kindle comes on when the cover is opened and shuts off when the cover is closed. Battery charge has lasted 3-4 weeks so far with usage twice daily, Monday - Friday. Get yours NOW!

I like how easy it is to change the font size. It's easy to hold.

I love my new paper white kindle. I have had it a little over a month now. I have had other kindles before, including the Kindle fire. But this new paper white one is the best I have had so far! I love the ability to read it outside, no matter how sunny it is. There is absolutely no glare. This kindle is super light-weight--I carry it in my purse all of the time. This kindle also has an amazing back-light so I can read when it is is dark out. Definitely worth 5 stars!!

I had an original Kindle for years. It finally quit, and I was concerned that the new ones wouldn’t be as good. Surprise! Screen size is the same. Lighting is better. It is so much lighter and more compact. Very satisfied.

Works in lots of light and very minimal light. Battery seems to last a long time. Finished an entire book (Maze Runner) and the battery indicator barely went down.

I absolutely love this. I thought I wouldn't like it as much as holding a book, but I love it and it's wonderful for nighttime reading, and beach reading as well. Plus I can have a few books without carrying a ton.

I love this little device. It's perfect for reading anywhere and anytime, especially great to use in the dark after my hubby is asleep. Most back lit devices hurt my eyes by this one doesn't bother them at all.

I admit I am late to the Kindle party. I couldn't understand why someone would get a dedicated e-reader when other devices could do so much more. I am now convinced that this is the way to read a book. The battery life is incredible and the paperwhite display is so easy on the eyes. The device is also a great size and can be used one handed without feeling cumbersome.

I had the original kindle which I loved but it was a pain to always have to have it lit when reading without proper light. It is great to have the screen backlit without the eyestrain that comes with a tablet.
