Saves me a lot of money and it is easier to carry and buy new books. You can even combine with an Amazon kindle membership to get a lot of books for little to no cost.

I originally bought the more expensive, Voyage model, and I definalty prefer this one. It is much easier to grip, and is doesn't get as smudgy. I could not tell much difference in the screen quality, the major noticeable thing was the Voyage has a smooth screen, and this one is a little rough to the touch, but that doesn't matter at all.

Very happy that I decided to upgrade to the paperwhite version of the Kindle. Now I can see what I am reading. It was very difficult with the original Kindle that I received as a gift.

There is no doubt this is the best available e-reader in the market. I was struggling with tablet vs reader but eventually ended up with reader as it gives the best reading experience.

Im in love with this kindle...i upgraded from a kindle 2 and the convenience of having the light built in is awesome! Theres no eyestrain whatsoever! It goes with me everywhere i go!!

Wife loves it. Much better than a Kindle Fire. She mainly used it for reading, and this isn't bogged down by unneeded programs. Ergonomic designs fits nicely in hands.

I am not the biggest reader but this made me start reading again! Really easy to use and very easy to read off at night or in the bright sun. Very user friendly and lots of little things to make my reading experience more helpful and exciting. Originally got the basic edition Kindle without the back light and instantly returned it. Not having to have a well lite room was more than worth the extra forty dollars.

I took my Kindle to the beach. You can read perfectly in the sunshine. I also like reading it while laying down because the page stays upright. it doesn't go horizontal when you move it

This was an eye opener. Until I bought it, never realized that there is so much difference between an table and a e-reader. This is one of the best purchases I made.

This was a Christmas present for my daughter, she reads big books very fast. When we bought the Kindle Paperwhiye we signed up for the Amazon Prime now she reads up to 5 books a week.

I gave this for Christmas to my 12 year old child. He been using it all the time to resd. He has download books from the library. He will try using it for schhool. We use to go the the library every week and he would come home with 8-10 books.and these would pile up around the house. Now all in the Kindle! Good clear screen. Glad i upgraded to the better one. Easy to set up as he open the box and did it all himself.

I'm a traveling nurse and an avid reader. With limited space it just made sense to have this in my life. It's perfect. And it holds a charge for a really long time.

The Kindle Paperwhite is a constant companion. Holds hundreds of books. Small, light, works brilliantly outside in bright sun. Battery lasts for weeks. Far better than reading on iPhone or iPad. Adjustable brightness is perfect when reading in the middle of the night and not wanting to light up the room. And syncs with iPhone, desktop, etc. when necessary. Total fan. Great investment.

started with the early Kindle years ago and upgraded to the Paperwhite. My wife and I each have one and they go everywhere with us.

I've used the new Kindle Paperwhite inside and outside while on the beach. Works perfectly and is easily viewed even in bright sunlight. I'd highly recommend it.

An easy way to read your favorite books! Whether you're in the sun or in the dark, this is the best Kindle ever. The only thing I don't like is the 'flash' when you turn the page.

After spending the last few years reading books on my Kindle app on my phone, I decided to get the Kindle Paperwhite. So far, I love it. It's extremely light and the battery life is terrific. I went and checked out all the Kindle versions and I really liked the way this felt. I liked the design of the Oasis but it felt too slippery and ultimately I felt the Paperwhite had everything I needed.
