The size is very convenient and display is wonderful

Intuitive to use, I read in bed every night for a couple hours. Battery lasts about three days, my other kindle (original), lasted about 8 days. But charges quickly.

Really simple to use, I bring it everywhere to read.

For a reading device, you cannot do better than Kindle. And, if you're going to get a Kindle, get the Paperwhite as the lights on the screen are worth the extra cost over the base model. You will NOT regret it.

I have never encountered a screen better suited to night time reading ever. The high point make it like paper. The even backlight is like magic at night and the battery seems to last for a very long time.

The paper white does what it claims it will do. You can go for weeks on end w/ only a single charge and it still have juice. Reading and import documents such as per files are simple via "drag-n-drop" in the root folder (which you'll create), documents. I only which that the ability to read .doc .docx files were available rather than having to convert files to pdf format. The screen is gentle to the eyes to read, whether outside in the sun or a low light setting, backlight or not.

Works well great outdoors in the sun. Better than iPad for books.

I have an iPad and phone with the Kindle App, but wanted something that would be easier on my eyes and have better battery life. I found this product is very good for that purpose. It's perhaps a touch smaller than I would like and I do wish I could read other eBook formats, but other than that it is a great way to carry a book while traveling and very easy to use.

I had a kindle ereader before that died due to old age. This one was a great replacement. I loved how easy it was to set up, and how it lit up—which meant I no longer needed a light on to read from it.

Great to read at night in bed. Great detail and easy on the eyes.
