I have enjoyed my Kindle Paperwhite very, very much. It is an excellent eReader for me as my eyesight isn't what it used to be and the backlight really helps is keeping the text readable especially in low light situations. It was a wonderful Christmas present from my dear spouse.

I purchased this Kindle for my hubs for his birthday. He likes that it is lighter than my older Kindle. The price was right. I did return the cover; way too expensive for what you get, and it wasn’t conducive to reading as it continually tries to snap shut.

The Kindle gets a lot of use in our house and we've not had a problem with the device after 30 days

The Bose headphones have great sound quality for music and the noise canceling is great

Bought this because it's lightweight and easy to adjust display for in bed reading. Have difficulty reading physical books as my vision is changed. I enjoy using this kindle although I have other readers including nook iPad and kindle hd. Very pleased with this purchase.

While most avid readers will say that you can't match the physical qualities of a book as part of the overall reading experience, this is pretty convenient. The soft glow of the screen doesn't assault your eyes after an extended reading session, and it fits nicely in the hands too.

This was a great replacement for my previous Kindle, which is more than 5 years old. However, I liked my old Kindle well enough, and I couldn't justify an upgrade considering the more than $100 price tag. That's why I waited for a one-day sale to pick up the Paperwhite.

I always buy these kindles for corporate giveaways. They're reasonably priced and are great quality.

My previous kindle succumbed to a leaky water bottle in my backpack. The new one is almost the same, even though it’s several years newer. The browser is still slow but once you have your book loaded you’re all set. Small enough to take anywhere, can read in any position and lighting easily changed to meet your needs. I did get the ads this time but they only show on the initial screen and actually some of the recommendations have been worthwhile.

Purchased it for my fiancé as a birthday gift. Coming from an older nook she loves it.

Before I switched to the Kindle white I was using Barnes and Noble Nook which had several down sides compared to the Kindle. Kindle battery last a long time compared to the Nook. Kindle does not jump pages like the Nook. Nook is very sensitive to touch and causes a lot of confusion when trying to find where you left off reading. My husband and I are very happy that we switched to Kindle especially since you have a greater selection of reading material through Amazon.

I got this Kindle to replace an old Kindle and a lost Ipad that I was using to read my KIndle books on. T his Kindle with the back lit screen combines the best of both Ipad and kindle..back lit but no glare in the sun

I'm already enjoying reading using a paper white, this purchase was for my granddaughter. It has all the functions I need. One of the best things is the length of the battery, It only needs charged once a month. I know she'll enjoy her paper white as much as I do mine.

I wore out my first generation paperwhite......onto the next! Kindle paperwhites are the way to go!

I already had a normal kindle but this paperwhite is much better. Highly recommended.
