The Kindle Paperwhite give me the freedom to read where ever I go. Whether in sunlight for darkness, it is easy to read, and with the plethora of titles available, there is never a dull moment.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas she had the original Kindle and it broke after years of use. At first she was disappointed that the screen was so small, but now that she's been using it she loves it ! Much easier to hold and flip pages !

The display is amazing. The only complain I have is with the display backlight. i can see light leakage on the bottom of the screen. Apart from that, everything is amazing.

I love my new paperwhite. I can download books quickly and now read more books.

Upgraded from Generation 1 kindle with buttons that had all the letters worn off to this newer generation kindle. Love the touchscreen and the ability to sit out on the patio with a fire and read all night without needing additional light.

My dear wife is a voracious reader and Paperwhite by Kindle is her reader of choice. She absolutely loves everything about it. We also recently became Prime members, and she is hoping there will be some great books to read at no additional charge!

Gave as a gift to my wife. She loves the size. Good battery life. Now needs to find a cover for it.

Much prefer using this to read books than the old way! Great buy!!!

I think this is the optimal e-book reader Amazon has released considering it's price and features. Having back light is plus especially if you wanna read before sleep. No freezing, and holds hundreds of books and documents

Had this device for years. Worked and continues to work as well as I hoped. After all these years and using the latest Kindle devices (Oasis) it does feel a little slower but again this was close to the same price. Worked well enough I’m considering getting the latest Paperwhite. In another interesting color.

While I have used an ipad in the past, this is hands down a huge improvement in the ability to read books. The backlighting and type font are great and it is extremely easy to download books.

I really love the back light on the paperwhite. I upgraded from an old kindle keyboard with a lighted case - and I love having the backlight built in. I considered the Voyage, to get the page press feature, but am very happy with the touch screen.

Simple to use..easy on the eyes. Good in variable light situations
