I resisted buying a Kindle for a long time; I love the feel and smell of books. But you can’t beat the convenience, light weight, and ease on the eyes of a digital device specifically designed just for reading. And the Kindle Paper White offers all that and more.

I refused to use a Kindle as I thought I only liked books. After spending so much on books as the prices are going up I decided to buy a Kindle. I love it. Very easy to use, lightweight, love being able to see the words without a light on.

Very glad that I decided to purchase this. I have read more in the past almost year than I have in the past 10 years thanks to how convenient this is. You can read at night without needing a light or in the car. Saves a ton of space verses owning the physical books.

Simple layout & easy to read with adjustable font size. Good for travel as very compact. (Bought a cover for it which turns it on & off by opening & closing...handy!) Didn't want/need anything elaborate. Does not need to be recharged often, which is a plus! I got it on sale!!

I purchased this product for two reasons: my old reader (Fire tablet) was not charging well, and it was close to impossible to read out of doors. The paper white is very easy to see outside and I only have to charge it about once a week--I do a great deal of reading!!

I love my Kindle. It is so easy to use and stores so many books and documents. I had a Kindle before and then switched to another more versatile reader. What a mistake that was. I am now back with a new Paper White and it is great.

Great device. Easy to pack and stow, light weight but good viewing screen. Screen is bright and easy to read.

My first ebook. I hesitated as I am old school on some things and like reading real books but I’ve enjoyed this smallish reader. It’s easy to use and I like the adjustable backlighting and text size. I especially enjoy being able to get books instantly and at a reduced price. Only complaint is it sometimes has a lag in time in use but otherwise I highly recommend.

I was using a regular Kindle Fire but got tired of the barely day long battery life. I got this and I've only charged it once and that was just because the charger was next to me, it was still at 50%. That's over a week and only at 50%. Its easy to read and you can control the brightness.

I love the Kindle Paperwhite. Its easy to view, simple to operate, lightweight, and a long battery life. The size is perfect. This purchase was for my 13 year old. He won't stop reading with this. It is our second paperwhite and a great value.

Paper white is light to carry, easy to read both inside and outside even in sunny locations. I like the fact that it is smaller, fits easily in pocketbooks and even in some pockets. Much more manageable and easier to always have with you incase you have some unexpected time to read.

Wife loves it. She likes the size and the fact she can easily stow it in her purse. Very easy to read even when she is out by the pool. Battery lasts a very long time. Overall she is very satisfied with this reader.

Very happy with this product. Backlight helps to read clearly in any condition (Day/Night). The Battery easily lasts for a week and more (depending on how extensively you use) ! Amazon really has wide collection of ebooks for multiple languages.

I love my new kindle paper white. It is so nice to be able to have all of my books in one place and that I can read them in all types of lighting. I also love that this kindle is waterproof!!! I just love reading while floating in the pool.

What can I say I love my kindle. Some people don't like reading on an eReader but for me its nice to read in the dark without looking for a light to illuminate pages. Also the waterproof factor is cool and the battery lasts and lasts.

The Kindle Paperwhite E-reader is fantastic to be able to read on the go. The backlit feature allows for easy reading in dim light and doesn't cause eye strain. Great way to keep your entire library on one device and in the cloud. The battery seems to last forever!

The Kindle is a godsend for travelers who want to read multiple books on vacation but don't want to stuff a bunch of paperbacks in their luggage. Great screen for reading and easy to operate. This is my third kindle and the best one I've had so far.

This was a big step for me because I love books in paper format. I love post-its, bookmarkers, highlighters, dog-eared pages, and the shear pleasure that books on printed paper gives me in the way I am accustomed to. I bought this because I wanted to travel with books. I do appreciate the convenience that Kindle brings. Yes, I had the app on my cell phone, but I was distracted. Separating the Kindle from cell phone and paper printed books, I was intentional with what I wanted to use this for. I love the size, look of paper, and light-weight of this Kindle. Plus I can adjust font size and read without prescriptive eye-wear! I still favor my paper books, but I've decided that I have space in my world for a Kindle reading library, too.

i dint think that the paper white could get better, but besides extending the battery life they even made it water proof, now trips to the pool and reading around the tub or a fear of the past. the paperwhite is much better at reading on the eyes than other tablets with no forward facing lights to keep you locked into the book at hand

I really like my new Kindle paper white. I was on the fence about getting one since I use my phone for everything. I decided to get it and I am very happy with it. I am very impressed with the battery life and it is much easier on your eyes then using your phone for reading.
