I needed a case so I didn’t return it, but it certainly wasn’t leather, nor was it worth what I paid, nor did it warrant being in a locked cabinet in the store, lol.

Didn't really like it because it is thin. Wound up buying a more sturdy canvas case where the entire device is protected. And if dropped, Kindle won't pop out.

Cheap Garbage

Not this one. Previous covers had rubberized material around the edges for a comfortable grip, this one has thin hard plastic. The leather itself also feels like cheap plastic. The third party cover I bought to replace this is much higher quality leather at less than half the price.
