When opened on Christmas day, found out it was a UK version. BB Chat was no help. All I wanted was to exchange it for a US version. BB Chat said to take it to a BB store and take it up with them. I didn't think I had to argue with BB to exchange a UK product they sent me for a US product. There was no option on the BB site to choose a UK version or US version. Also, the Kindle does not have a way to select US on the Kindle. BB has a LOT of my money. Used them for kitchen remodel'S and house stereo systems.

So I purchased this kindle because they said this is one that will read to her and highlight the words as it reads. No one can show me how this works or get it hooked up to work. I have taken it back to Best Buy twice and no one has been able to get it to work

The feature you are referring to requires a Bluetooth headset to connect to your device for the screen reader option to work as the device itself does not have any physical speaker. You can find screen reading options under Accessibility or under the Menu icon when inside the book you are trying to read. You are also able to use audio book options in this way through Audible where you can read along with a book while it is professionally narrated. This option may require a purchase of both the Kindle and Audible version of some books or can sometimes be coupled with a Kindle Unlimited and Audible subscription service. If you have any difficulty trying to access these features, I would recommend contacting Amazon Customer Support directly at 888.280.4331 for further assistance. As for the product…after a day or two it was so yellow it gave me a headache. And it was 0 in warmth. I had to return it. I was sad, because it was definitely faster and smoother than my 2021, but if i cant read it, it doesn’t matter.

Charge last long, and it is easier on the eyes than when U read in my IPad. Holding up the Kindle, Signature Edition, is no problem. It is light weight and causes no strain on the hand. I can turn the pages of the book with either my left hand or right (which makes it fery convenient). Reading at night is my favorite pastime. The Kindle makes reading an absolute pkeasure.

The screen is sharper and definitely was worth the extra money for the auto screen brightness adjustment BUT, this is my second, the first one, in the top right corner, the letters were more blurry, so check for defects like that...
