I purchased the Kindle Signature Edition as a more convenient way to read my books without the harsh glare of blue light from other tablet devices. It has been a game changer. The ease of having my collections of books stored in one place with a simple tap of the screen. It is the perfect size to fit in most bags & deep pockets. If you’re in a fast paced city, it’s a great device to have to kill time whether on public transit or while waiting to meet up with friends & loved ones - getting your reading in where you can. The ability to research words on the spot & highlight areas of a book that resonate with you or catches your eye is amazing. Two of the best apps that have aided in my newfound love for Kindle are Good Reads & Libby. You will not be disappointed.

I like the paperwhite as an upgrade to my original kindle. Page turning is faster, battery life is longer (though lets be honest 6 weeks for the original is still pretty great compared to smart phones). And the lighting is much improved. It is slightly larger and heavier and though it doesn't seem like 53 grams would be noticeable, it does after an hour of holding the paperwhite over your head while in bed. All in all though, it is worth the upgrade unless the smooth glass feel and slight gloss of the paperwhite is a concern.

It took me about a week to get used to reading a book on an e-reader as I have always purchased my books to put on a shelf. The Kindle Paperwhite SE is lightweight, convenient to pack, and has amazing battery life (almost three weeks worth now). Best part is no eye strain if you like to read at night in bed. Added bonus, if you fall asleep reading, it remembers exactly what page you were on...no flipping pages to discover where you stopped reading. I would recommend to all book lovers and have already recommended to each of my grown children.

Absolutely love this device. It's lightweight, the screen does not bother my eyes like a typical computer, and I can carry SO many books in one device that it makes life much more efficient when traveling. Being able to read when lighting is low is fantastic as well compared to trying to read a typical book. Definitely get a case to protect the screen when in bags.

Got this for my fiance, as her old one was a little outdated and running slow. This one glides through the pages and look crisp and clean while doing so. Its also slightly bigger. Its leveled up her reading experience by quite a bit!

Super small, very portable, awesome battery life. Would definitely recommend unless you already have an iPad or something.

As someone who has read on kindle app via iPad for years, I debated on whether an actual kindle would be a worthwhile purchase. I decided to purchase a kindle as I wanted a better battery life and more light weight device for traveling. I’ve had the kindle for a couple of months now and I wish I would have purchased earlier as the battery life is great and it is so light weight. The only con I have is I do wish the screen’s brightness could be a little brighter. That’s likely preference on my end, but if you like a really bright screen as well-this is not the device that will provide.

Holding up great!! I’ve been loving my kindle! Battery is very long lasting, I’ve been able to go almost a week without having to plug it in. Very portable fits in almost every small bag of mine. Love the blue light feature for nights while reading in bed.

I have had several kindles over the past 10 years and I must say I really am enjoying my latest purchase. A charge last a long time (which was one of the details that attracted me to buying it) although I keep it topped off---hope that is ok!. screen is easy to read and has all the features I enjoyed with my still working prior paperwhite kindle.

I purchased this as an upgrade to my previous signature edition and in a side by side comparison, it is so much faster. The wireless charging ability is so nice. This is definitely a worthy upgrade from previous versions because it really feels like a premium kindle experience.

I like that i dont have any distractions while i read. I have ADHD which was the issue reading from my IPAD. I got distrated easily with random thoughts and would end up watching YouTube videos all night. I have read 4 books in a month. I like how i am able to take it everywhere i go because its light and slim. I am also able to read while i workout on the elliptical or treadmill at the gym. I havent dislike anything about it yet.

Lasts a long time on a charge. Beautiful screen. Light and compact.

I love it! Best purchase I've made as far as a eReader goes! I've never owned a kindle before, always just used my phone or tablet. This doesn't hurt my eyes and doesn't have the same negative effects as reading on your phone or tablet does. Has a nice feel to it and the screen really looks like a book! Very easy to use as well.

When it comes to reading books I’m old school, but this was the best investment I’ve made! I usually read at minimum an hour a day or more. I have yet to charge the kindle and it’s been two weeks!! I added on the kindle unlimited and legit have a great deal of books so I definitely recommend adding that as a feature. I love how I am able to see how many pages I have read and the percentage of how much I have read. You can customize the letter size and brightness which is great for someone like me who wears glasses, this has not hurt my eyes and I can read in bed without disturbing my husband. Bottom line if you love reading and on the fence about buying the kindle, just buy it, you won’t regret it.

This device was designed from every point prioritizing the reader. Battery life, brightness, size, page turning, etc all make this better than any phone or tablet that aren’t the right size and hurt your eyes after extended use

First kindle i have owned. I love it and am reading so much more and a lot faster! Its easy to use, easy to set up. The screen is perfect and does not hurt your eyes. I show it to everyone!!
