My wife is an extremely avid reader—she reads over 600 books a year, and the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition has been absolutely perfect for her. The screen is easy on the eyes for long reading sessions, the adjustable warm light is fantastic for nighttime reading, and the battery life is outstanding even with heavy daily use. She loves the auto-adjusting front light, the wireless charging, and the fact that it’s waterproof, which makes it easy to take anywhere. The performance is smooth, storage is more than enough, and it’s lightweight and comfortable to hold for hours. If you’re a serious reader or know someone who is, this is hands down one of the best tech purchases you can make. She wouldn’t switch to anything else.

This device was designed from every point prioritizing the reader. Battery life, brightness, size, page turning, etc all make this better than any phone or tablet that aren’t the right size and hurt your eyes after extended use

I love the paper white. The text is very clear and easy to read, even in the sun. If you're wondering if you should get the signature edition, the differences are more storage, no ads, and automatic brightness adjustment. Honestly, I dont think any of those are deal breakers, unless you're listening to a lot of audiobooks (which needs more storage). Ads arent intrusive and sometimes even helpful if you want recommendations (theyre only in the title screen). If you get the normal version, you can pay $10 later to remove ads. I got the signature because of the auto light. Its pretty cool that you can walk outside and dont need to keep changing the brightness

I love it! Best purchase I've made as far as a eReader goes! I've never owned a kindle before, always just used my phone or tablet. This doesn't hurt my eyes and doesn't have the same negative effects as reading on your phone or tablet does. Has a nice feel to it and the screen really looks like a book! Very easy to use as well.

I bought this for the daughter for her 38th birthday. She loves it!! She keeps telling me about all the books she downloads. I spent the extra money for the signature since it has the auto adjust on the light. Very easy to read. Hold a charge for a long time.

Kindle paperwhite I’m pretty impressed. It’s easy to use and clear to read. The battery lasts for forever it feels. Its light. Personally I wanted the jade but the black is pretty good.
