Posted .Hello wackermd. Thank you so much for your feedback and review! I agree that having direct access to Libby and Overdrive and other similar library apps within the Kindle would be terrific. As you stated, it is not a tablet and does not use an Appstore like smartphones and tablets do. However, there are very easy and quick ways to link your Libby or Overdrive app directly to your Amazon account so that when you use the app on your phone to take out a book, you can tap Read with Kindle and it shows up directly in your on device library. This makes it where you don't need to use an app on your Kindle. It is good feedback and we are constantly working to improve upon our products and services through feedback just like yours so we thank you! I hope you have a terrific day!

It has a great battery life, lightweight, wonderful screen. I feel the price is a little high but in this case it is worth it.

I love to read but after a short period of time the book would become too heavy and cause me a lot of pain. I was told several times by my doctors and others to get a kindle but I resisted thinking it would just be a waste of money. I finally broke down and purchased one and boy was I wrong. I love my kindle especially how lightweight it is that I’m able to read more again. I’m very happy with my purchase

It is lightweight, holds a great charge, and I love that we can toggle between light and dark mode. Makes reading on the eyes a bit easier depending on the time of day. Overall, I’d give this a 10 star rating if I could. You won’t be disappointed.

I previously owned a kindle touch from 2012, and recently decided to go ahead and upgrade the the paper white signature and could not be happier. It’s got a fast reaction time, has been great for the beach and traveling, and hold so many books with the 32gb storage! I would highly recommend this to everyone on the fence, but make sure you get a screen protector!
