The WORST. Don’t buy. It’s so slow, web browser doesn’t work and hard to read. Worst Amazon purchase ever.

Seems to be a good product. However, haven't used it very much yet.

When I was in BestBuy, looking for a Kindle eReader, the sales guy told me that I could buy this one and add an SD card for expanded memory. That was a lie. Tried to return it and was told I couldn’t. Seems BestBuy will no do anything to sell something.

Outstanding reader! Lightweight, great display, long-lasting battery, and waterproof. What more could you need. And I love the USB-C plug - the old micro USB plugs need to go away on all devices. Truly nothin I would change. My only remark is regarding the battery, which is great - it will not last 6 weeks if you read normally. The specification for that six weeks is 30 minutes a day- lol- and probably no back light. If you read one or two hours a day and use the backlight, expect more like 10 days, which I find to be great.

Badly manufactured China junk. Each Kindle is made less functional.

Absolutely disgusting. Paid $200 for this thing just over a year ago. Accidentally let it lose all charge and now it won't charge and no one will do anything about it. Well known issue with Kindles.

Wanted a bigger kindle. Didn't care for the way it scrolled a page at a time. Prefer continuous scrolling.

It's so easy on my eyes and I feel much more engaged with book reading. I have been reading more and more books on this device lately and I take it with me everywhere I go. I have owned many kindle devices for the past 12 years and stopped using them since I have a tablet but reading on a tablet for a prolonged time makes me get eye fatigue. I don't get eye fatigue when I am reading books and technical docs on this device, looking forward to the scribe coming out next month.

I bought a Kindle Paperwhite version 11 to replace a Kindle with a built-in keyboard which I kept for years because it had a feature called "text to speech" because it would read aloud to me. The Paperwhite has built-in adjustable lighting. It is faster than the older Kindle & has a battery with longer life. In order to have text to speech I had to provide an external Bluetooth speaker to sync with the Paperwhite. There is a 150+ page instruction manual included. I'm still working my way through it & learning how to use features in the Paperwhite. The available protective case fits very well & should stay that way because there is no elastic to wear out. I would buy the Paperwhite & case again. No built-in speaker is the only drawback for me.

Just what i was looking for. So fun to read on this kindle. It has a nice warm light for evening reading, wireless charging, and huge amount of storage for ebooks and audiobooks.

Got this to help with eye strain. It’s great. Lightweight and easy to use. I read about 2 to 3 hours a day pretty much every day and the battery lasted almost 3 weeks (with airplane mode on). No more headaches, eye strain.

Worth every dollar! Very happy with this purchase. Lightweight and perfect size. I do wish the free library had a better selection is all.

Love the bigger screen! This is a sweet ereader. Very lightweight too.

This is exactly like the last generation with a few notable changes. First, its larger. The screen is just bigger which is nice, but it's a bit harder to hold in one hand. The charging port is USB C which is great. Its advertised that it can also do wireless charging, but I haven't tried this yet. The larger memory is also nice especially when there is no internet around and you need another book. Wait foor the sales. It has already been on sale twice since it was introduced. I'm sure there will be more.

I absolutely love my new paperwhite kindle. It's everything i wanted and more. Easy to take with and read anywhere.

I love it! I have macular degeneration and non-glare scree with font controls, magnification, brightness and warmth and cool screen control is a great feature. I thrilled that because of the screen, I have no trouble reading outside.

The person leaving this should be the one that uses it. I purchased because my dog chewed up the previous Kindle I purchased as a GIFT. I can't say I would recommend because I am not the user. My eyesight won't let me use it.

I prefer physical books, but this is a great alternative for travel or any time bringing physical books is impractical.

Upgraded from the kindle paperwhite 6th gen. I’m obsessed! Worth the money for the upgrade! I have not charged it since that initial time when I bought it-that’s been a month ago!
