I liked the note pad alot, You absolutely need an amazon account. You need kindle account. PEN TIPS arent the best you only get like 5 in a pack and they wear out like a pencil.

I love this Kindle! It’s much faster than my Paperwhite, and the on-screen notes are hands down my favorite feature.
