This cover seems sturdy and I expect it to last at least as long as my Kindle holds up. However I was disappointed in the fact that there seems to be very little leather used in its construction. Recommend going with generic cheaper versions.

Bought this for my mom for her new Kindle. She loves that when she closes it it automatically shuts her Kindle off to power saving mode.

The paperwhite reader cover is of solid construction, closes well and holds up nicely. Purple color is a nice option.

The case is a solid product. It also has functionality similar to the iPad smart covers that turn the device on when the cover is opened.

We tried several ways to install this item on my wife's new Kendle but it never did fit the way it is supposed to. The way it fits does not allow the cover to completely close. She decided to live with it , but I would not buy this item again
