If you're going to buy a kindle, you have to buy a case. This is a nice one.

Got this for my wife as a present. Not much to say, works just fine.

It light's up my life! Great not to have to turn on the Kindle every time I start to read.

This was a sturdy case as far as protection, but I had too main complaints. It was too heavy/bulky for me to comfortably hold up in my hand while reading it with one hand. Also, the flap on it isn't magnetized on the back, so I have to physically hold it back to read. I'll stick with Flinty cases. This case had great reviews online, but I don't really see it for the price, considering you can get super thin cases for a quarter of the price.

I would recommend this for any kindle. She wanted purple cover so that's what she got.
