This case is great. When you close it to go do something you don't have to worry about remembering to cut the kindle off because closing the case puts the device to sleep for you. When returning and opening the case it wakes the device up so you aren't worried about draining the battery if left on. This case is hard and very durable and there is no worry about accidentally dropping the device because it I secure and protected in the case.

I chose this cover for my Paperwhite because frankly there wasn't a lot of options at the store, and I liked the purple color. And, I'm pretty happy with it overall... it's slim, holds the kindle VERY securely (bit of a struggle getting it in, actually) and the magnetic closure is slick. My old protector for my 1st gen Kindle had a really handy interior pocket, tho, which I used quite a lot. I really miss that in this new case. Otherwise, it's a good product, even tho it felt a little overpriced. I do feel pretty confident it will do its job and protect the more expensive kindle in case of a fall.

This case is perfect for the Kindle. It look cool and has a beautiful design. The outside leather casing feels a little strange. It doesn't really feel like leather but it's fine.

This cover is simple and yet professional in appearance. It is easy to get the Kindle into and provides good protection from any accidental dropping of the Kindle. It protects it well and yet looks professional enough to carry with you into meetings, which allows you to carry reference material to those important meetings with clients.

I really like the Amazon made cases. They fit perfectly around the Kindles which gives superior protection to the edges and corners. On top of that, compared to the covers that have elastic strapping that goes over the corners to hold it in place and eventually wear out, this never will. I also really like how the magnetic catch keeps the cover closed and also automatically shuts off the Kindle and turns it back on when you open it!
