My late stepmother had a Kindle Fire that she used to read her electronic novels and my wife loved how much easier they were to read than on the iPads. Lots of great reviews of the Kindle Paperwhite so this will be a great Christmas gift this year; as a working Mom this cover will provide her a lot of protection for her Kindle as she moves from home to work and back again.

Wish this case cost half of what it does, but is otherwise an EXCELLENT case. Fits great, high quality - everything you'd expect from the Kindle line. The case is fairly low profile, so in comparison to my old case it was a little thin and my preference is a slightly thicker case -- to give it more of a book feel. However, with it's thin profile - it's also quite light.

I actually took advantage of the "open-box" offer on this item. It arrived in PERFECT condition. This is a timeless black leather case, lightweight, durable, and excellent quality. It provides good protection without the bulk and feels comfortable in my hand for hours of reading. The magnet closure is distinct but not too powerful. It reliably triggers the auto awake when opened.

It's a case... It has a magnetic lock that will wake up the Kindle Paperwhite when opened. I don't really notice it in my hands when using the Paperwhite.

The case fits well & protects the front and back fully. The magnetic catch keep it closed well, and it folds back completely making it easy to use. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the kindle case I had for my old Kindle was a nicer softer leather.

I bought this for my Kindle Paperwhite, and I love it. Fits great, the magnetic closer works to sleep and wake Kindle, and makes it feel more like holding a real book if you want that. The cover does fold all the way behind if you are wanting an easier one handed hold. Liked it so much, I got one for my Mom. :-)
