This compact, lightweight case is ideal for my kindle. It makes me feel like I'm holding an actual book. Because it isn't bulky, I can fit my kindle in my pocketbook which is very convenient.

I tend to carry my Kindle with me most of the time and like that it turns off the Kindle simply by closing it. It fits very tightly, so changing it to a different case could be a problem.

This is the best kindle paperwhite case out there, and I've tried a few. It's not bulky or heavy. The fact that it auto-locks and -unlocks is great, too.

My husband bought this for his Kindle. It was actually nicer when he put it on and it seems fairly sturdy but not too heavy. We just wish it was a little cheaper!

Many people fold the cover back to fit behind the back of the unit while using the Kindle. I did not do that at first, but for convenience I began to do that as do many other people. In the long run, this practice may shorten the life span of the cover because of the constant extreme flexing of the cover. The cover is very handy and protects the face of the Kindle while not in use.

I've had three generations of kindles with the official case and this is by far the best case for the kindle paperwhite 2. The leather and materials used feels great! You def. get what you paid for. I looked at cheaper alternatives, but this case holds the kindle the best without any bands on the corners.

I was reluctant to buy this at first because of the price but I now think it is worth the cost. The cover is light weight but strong and it does a good job of protecting my kindle.

Was looking for a durable but ease in use case for my new Paperwhite Reader. Best Buy salesperson was very helpful in selecting the exact product I was looking for. This product is not only nice looking and very durable for travel use but it also has a magnetic snap close feature that when closed and opened puts the reader to sleep and wakes it up. What a novel idea. I love it.

Brought the black one years ago with my 0ld kindle. Decided to get the purple one with my new Kindle because of the quality.

I highly recommend these cases. I am a avid reader and my first one is not in the best condition after going on 3 years but shows why it is so important to protect your Kidle. I think in these 3 years we counted I read over a hundred books I have read and I think it is embarrassing to admit how many are bought and I can choose whenever I want another
