When looking for a cover for my paper white kindle I wanted one that I would be able to wipe if I got it dirty, but did not look like plastic. This has a nice leather look and the color is very fashionable. The best thing though is it has the wake/sleep feature which is wonderful. I never have to remember to shut it off and when I open it, it is ready for me to start reading
