This case was a perfect choice for my new Kindle. I'd recommend it to those looking for a simple, attractive solution.

Don't go the cheap route and buy a generic case for your kindle. Get the original Amazon case. It's durable and will last a long time.

This cover is very light weight and durable. My only complaint is it only comes in black or purple, which there was more color choices.

I am so glad I decided to purchase this case. Not only does it protect the Paperwhite, but it looks classy and it makes using the Paperwhite that much easier to use: simply close the cover when finished reading, and the device automatically powers down; open it up, it powers up automatically, and you are ready to go! Finally, it creates a sensation of holding an actual book (especially important for those like me who once preferred physical books to e-books). The soft leather feels inviting to the touch. In addition, the cover can fold backward if you prefer holding the device with one hand; it can also act as a stand if you are reading while lying down and prefer no hands! Finally, getting back to the old fashioned book sensation, when you are finished reading, there is a sort of pleasure one gets from snapping a book's cover closed, a final punctuation mark added when the story is over. It is nice to know that little pleasure is still there for the taking (but you can't be overly enphatic, so you don't damage the device). Therefore, you will be very happy with the case, should you decide to purchase it.

This is a good product. It protects the Kindle and seems to have some functionality; the kindle turns on when you open it and shuts down when you close. The magnetic clasp keeps it closed and it is lightweight and looks good. As I said above, the only thing I'd change is make it so the front cover could fold under the Kindle when you are reading it.

This case is definitely the best you can get. It is made of very high quality materials and just feels sturdy. It is held closed magnetically and automatically puts your Kindle to sleep or wakes it by just closing or opening it respectively. It is a little pricey, but that price is better than replacing a unprotected Kindle that was dropped...
