I spent from 6:30 pm to 00:30 am trying to get the BestBuy activation code to work. BestBuy shifted me to several departments. Finally, I brought Amazon in on the calls. (Yes, plural). Amazon said it was BestBuy’s promotion and there was no culpability for validity of Amazon Music activation codes. (Do NOT scrap your activation code—FYI.). I never scrapped my activation code and to this day, I don’t know who was supposed to activate the Amazon Music. Also, if you get it activated, don’t forget to cancel—especially since Amazon jacked up the price of Amazon Music. Ridiculous. Buy your own music.

Wouldn’t be an issue for those who didn’t experience the older amazon music, because they wouldn’t know if was included with prime before. This is the reason I took a star way. I now use apple music.
